Since 2022 Loading Stoke Newington has been a WPN this means for every set we can run pre releases, store championships and have promotional card support to dish out at events like Commander Party & Open house.
All our events are aimed at being an accessible entry into Magic The Gathering so whether you are dusting off a classic deck you’ve found in the loft or been lured in by one of the Universes Beyond crossovers, you will be welcome at Loading.
When do you host Magic?
Wednesday is our regular Commander night, Thursday we always host some form of draft alongside more commander with the focus on pre-cons and beginner decks.
Do you host pre-release?
Yes, we now host 4 events every set, Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday daytime and a catch up session the following Thursday. You don’t need to book to enter, simply head down before the event starts.

Do you sell Magic The Gathering?
We stock the essentials, like deck boxes, Dragon Shield sleeves, Gamegenic sleeves and playmats. For anyone craving some cards we also stock a range of boosters usually covering the latest release and two previous sets.
Pre orders?
While we only stock the core range, if there is something in an upcoming set like a box, commander deck set or bundle you are after, ask instore and you can pre-order and collect when it’s released.
