“You Rye’d”
The Journey of an undead has always traced the bonfires, and no journey of import has been made without an Estus Flask. For this Estus Cask we needed something golden that would help revive, provide courage and perhaps burn a little.
For a game with old fashioned sensibilities, this take on an Old Fashioned uses cask whisky.
Ingredients
- 50ml Jameson Caskmates IPA
- 15ml Rye Whiskey
- 2 Dash Angostura Bitters
- 2 Dash Orange Bitters
- Sugar cubes
- Orange Peel
- Ice
- Muddler
- Tumbler
- 250ml Wine Carafe
Method
To start add two sugar cubes into a tumbler, add both of the bitters and muddle until finely ground. Add the Caskmates and Rye add two cubes of ice and stir continuously, add two more cubes to dilute the drink, add two more cubes to the carafe and transfer your Old Fashioned, add the orange peel and serve.
