With Street Fighter x Tekken close to launching we were approached by a PR agency who were handling the launch party to create six drinks that could be served on the night and made for the press during previews. Because the game had such a large character list and we rarely like to follow orders we upped the drinks list to 8 as we wanted to cover a good selection of fighters.

These drinks were served at the launch and made to battle at the event with guests voting on their favourite cocktail, unsurprisingly for a drink that’s basically an alcoholic milkshake finished with a chocolate flake, ‘Furry Cup’ beat ‘Poison breath’ to the title.

The Game

Street Fighter X Tekken is a crossover fighting game developed by Capcom and released in March 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, it also made its way to PC and Vita. The game features characters from both the Street Fighter franchise and Namco’s Tekken series. In the game, each player selects two characters respectively and face each other as duos in tag-team fighting matches, with the objective to knock out one of the members from the opposing team. In addition to the traditional multiplayer modes, the game also features a single-player Story mode with a plot revolving around a mysterious object called the “Pandora”.
